Golden Globe-winning actor George Hamilton was born on this day in 1939. The Memphis-born Hamilton ate some strange things while attending a prep school in New England.
To provoke a laugh from fellow students, Hamilton sometimes ate a concoction of mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise and "every other vile thing I could get my hands on." But that’s not the strangest thing he devoured. "I once ate a drinking glass just to get a reaction," he said.
